No. It uses a natural narrator voice, and the Lektorat rewrites whatever doesn't work out loud, like bullet points, arrows and tables, before anything is read. Press play on the demo and hear for yourself.

It's built not to. The audiobook keeps every statement from your source and adds nothing new, and a second editor checks it against the source sentence by sentence. Answers come only from your material, with the passage they're based on. If your material doesn't cover a question, you're told so. As with any AI, check key points against your book before an exam.

That's coming soon. Your study pal will pause for quick check-in questions while you listen, and you'll be able to generate practice tests of 20 to 100 questions per chapter: multiple choice scored with points, or open answers assessed after you submit them.

No. The licence is a one-time payment. The only optional subscription is a storage plan, if you want to keep your library longer than 60 days.

No. BoomCoins don't expire. They have no cash value and can't be transferred to another account.

Yes. You see the price of every action before it runs, and you can set a monthly cap, a cap per chapter and a daily cap for questions. Auto top-up is optional: if you use it, you choose the amount (we suggest $25 when you drop below 494 BC) and a monthly maximum.

Coming soon, for storage plan subscribers. You connect your own OpenAI API key, and OpenAI bills you directly for the AI work instead of BoomCoins.

An unused BoomCoin pack can be refunded within 14 days of purchase. Coins you've used and coins included with the licence aren't refundable unless the law says otherwise. Consumers in the EU and UK also have a statutory right of withdrawal; see the withdrawal policy and the BoomCoin terms.

Any time in Settings. It runs until the end of the month you've paid for. The licence is a one-time payment, so there's nothing to cancel there.

Anything older than 60 days gets a 14-day grace period, then it's deleted for good. Export your notes before then.

Prices are in US dollars. VAT or sales tax is added at checkout based on your location. Checkout may show the total in your local currency before you pay.

Enter your VAT ID at checkout. For a valid EU or UK business VAT ID the reverse charge applies and no VAT is added.

Only you. Everything stays private to your account. There's no sharing and there are no public links.

No. We don't train models on your uploads. Our AI providers process them only to do the work you asked for, under business terms that don't allow them to train on it. The privacy policy lists every provider.

Your recording is sent for transcription and isn't stored. The question and the answer are saved to your notes, and you can delete any note.

No. There are no analytics, no ads and no cookies on this website. Fonts are served from our own domain, not from Google.

English material works today. German and other languages are coming soon.

Coming soon: you'll pick the language of each summary. Audiobooks always stay in the language of your material, so every term sounds the way it will look in your exam.

Without a storage plan, everything is kept for 60 days from when you created it, then deleted for good. You get a warning 7 days before. With a storage plan (50 GB for $2.99 or 500 GB for $11.99 a month), nothing expires while the plan runs.

Your notes, any time: every question and answer with the cited passages and their page numbers, as a Markdown file. Exporting audio and captions is coming soon.

Yes. StudyBoom reads the page images. For a whole scanned book it builds a page map once, with the printed page number, headings and topic of every page, so you can say “chapter 2, page 693” and get exactly that.

For a chapter: PDF (scanned is fine), Word (.docx), TXT or Markdown, or photos of pages (JPG, PNG, WebP), up to 60 MB. For a whole book: PDF, Word, TXT or Markdown, up to 500 MB. iPhone HEIC photos need to be exported as JPG first.

No problem. Lines that repeat on most pages, like watermarks, stamps and running footers, are removed before anything is read aloud.
